ESSENTIAL SHOPPING CHECKLIST FOR MOVING INTO YOUR FIRST HOME

Moving day when you're purchasing or renting your first home can be fun, exciting, and even a little nerve-racking, but one sure way to keep the anxious feelings away is to be prepared ahead of time.

Often when moving we are concerned with the larger items like furniture and clothing that we can forget the small necessities. Keep reading for a few checklist items and click here for the full article.

CLEANING SUPPLIES & PAPER PRODUCTS

The last thing you want to think about when you've been moving boxes all day is cleaning your home, but the best way to start off your new space is by wiping down any surfaces, kichen cabinets, and door knobs. You'll also want to make sure you stock your home with paper products such as paper towels, toilet paper, and napkins to make the transition smooth.

BATHROOM MUST HAVES

Two major items new homeowners or renters forget on moving day are a plunger and shower curtain. While some sellers or landlords leave their curtain behind, not being able to shower after a day of moving because yours is missing would be awful. Also, for obvious reasons you never know when a plunger will come in handy.
