The rhythmic sound of bouncing basketballs fills the courts every summer day, a testament to Cheryl Herzog's influence in nurturing a deep love for the game within our island. As March Madness unfolds, it reminds us of the rich basketball culture in Sea Isle City. Cheryl is a passionate and talented individual who has dedicated almost 30 years to nurturing young basketball talent through her Summer Elite Basketball Camp and clinics in Sea Isle City. Her love for the game began on the courts in Sea Isle as a little girl and continued through her college basketball career as a Division I player at Towson State University. In 2003, Cheryl established the Elite Skills Camp in Sea Isle City, following her coaching experience at Bishop McDevitt High School, where she served as the head coach in the Philadelphia Catholic League for four years. Her commitment to youth development and the game of basketball shines through her annual Elite Skills Camp, catering to boys and girls aged 7-13.
